Diagnosing which section of an ECM motor that has a problem has never been easier.
The SideWinder is easy to use! Using the tool's first test, by rotating the motor shaft, causes the motor to generate a back-EMF voltage, which is displayed by the phase LEDs. Comparing the brightness of these LEDs shows how the three phases are working. The second test checks for any shorts or grounds between any of the windings and motor frame. The 3 LEDs display any faults.

The ZebraStat is a fully electronic, easy-to-use diagnostic tool for all HVAC and refrigeration system technicians. Inside its durable protective case you will find a tool that quickly diagnoses low-voltage control problems in system wiring, control boards, thermostats, and associated components.

The VZ-7 is a microprocessor-controlled diagnostic tool that performs sophisticated testing with only 4 switches. With it, a Tech will be able to:

• Visually monitor signal calls from the furnace/air handler circuit boards.
• Interrupt those signals and send the motor any signals you desire, to observe motor operation.
• Get a visual display of motor RPM and the calculated CFM (on most systems).
• Get a visual readout of all 4 system "taps". These selections help set up a system correctly.
• Get a direct readout of the control voltage in the motor (low voltage here causes erratic operation).
• And finally, IF a problem is traced to the motor, one switch press starts an automatic analysis to clearly indicate if the problem is in the motor's electronics, or one of 7 possible winding problems.

The all-in-one Short Finder tool is a 24 volt system, auto-resetting, 3A & 5A short-finder. It will keep techs from wasting a pocketful of fuses while trying to locate voltage shorts.

Adapter A is used with the UZ-1 Universal Zebra tool to troubleshoot GE, Regal-Beloit, and GENTEQ Series 2.0 and 2.3 ECM motors.

Adapter B is used with the UZ-1 Universal Zebra Tool to troubleshoot Regal-Beloit, and GENTEQ Series 3.0 ECM Motors

Adapter D is used with the UZ-1 Universal Zebra Tool to troubleshoot Broad Ocean ECM's with 8-pin plugs.

Adapter C is used with the UZ-1 Universal Zebra tool to troubleshoot these ECM motors:

Adapter F is used with the UZ-1 Universal Zebra tool to troubleshoot Evergreen "IM" Series Motors (but not Evergreen "AH").

Adapter G is used with the UZ-1 Universal Zebra Tool to troubleshoot Azure Digi-Motors For Models 10860/61 only.

The accessory case is intended to store the components of your Universal Zebra System. It protects your investment in adapters, motor power plugs with harnesses, and other accessories from loss or damage. It looks just like a larger version of the UZ-1's case, and also includes a carry handle. It is a rugged, latched case.
